Made for Channel 4’s Animate scheme, funded by the Arts Council. An experimental film created by photocopying imagery directly onto clear 35mm film, combined with live-action footage originally shot on 16mm. Filmed on location in Wales and London, the film follows a journey from birth, represented by the sea, into the chaos of urban life. Images and text are layered to create unexpected connections between unrelated subjects, allowing a fragmented narrative to emerge through association rather than conventional storytelling.
